- Key Areas/ Functional Areas:
- Planning and managing inventory levels in our warehouses and provinces to reduce the possibility of inventory risk and to ensure OOS levels are low (30%);
- Managing a team of provincial buyers to execute procurement activities to ensure there are enough goods to sell but without burying cash flow at the suppliers (30%);
- Work with warehouse operations teams to plan effective SKU (import/export) movement and storage to minimize write-off risk (20%);
- Executing on supply processes such as invoice management, SKU quality, near expired date, slow-moving items, and other administrative activities (20%).
Requirements
-
- 6+ years of experience;
- Preferred experience in FMCG, General Trade, Retail, Modern Trade, Logistics
- The candidate will be based in Ho Chi Minh but should be comfortable traveling and working from the Mekong Delta;
- The English language is preferred but not compulsory;
- Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering or equivalent;
- Self-starter – the candidate will work independently from time;
- Analytical & numbers-oriented – the candidate will analyze our supply operations and come up with benchmarks for inventory levels;
- Team player – the candidate will work with multiple teams such as the Category Management team and the SU;
- Comfortable with uncertainty – business needs for supply are always changing, the candidate must be ready to change processes to fit new business needs;
- Fluent in English.
Trade marketing execution (70%)
- Implementing the trade activity to the sales team and customer.
- Ensuring aligned trade mechanics with the investment and sales system.
- Monitoring the progress and performance of all trade activities.
- Serving as the primary contact point with partners (brands, sales team) for planning, execution, and performance evaluation of Trade Marketing initiatives.
Collaboration (30%)
- Executing strategic trade activities aligned NJM & brands focus volume/value/distribution KPIs.
- Evaluating the performance of Trade Marketing programs on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Ensure cost management for effective spending, encompassing key KPIs such as volume and display.
- Influencing the sales team with strategic plans that had been aligned with the core team.
Key Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of extensive experience in trade marketing, business development, and customer success in a FMCG company
- Graduated from a talented development program at any corporation is a plus
- At least Diploma / Degree in any Business related field (business, sales, marketing, finance, communication)
- Business development or account planning/operating experience in FMCG
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms)
- Intermediate in English (Reading, Writing)
Responsibilities:

- Planning and reporting:
- Lead weekly/monthly sales reporting on key business metrics (sales productivity, revenue per province, customer numbers etc)
- Lead weekly/monthly sales planning to forecast revenue, performance and sales of key FMCG categories/SKUs
- Support the Area Sales Managers with the right reports and metrics to identify areas to improvement
- Analysis and leading projects:
- Conduct analysis on business metrics to identify areas to improve
- Lead large scale projects to improve performance and sales productivity
- Launch new sales tools across the nation and ensure proper roll-out (e.g. DMS)
- Sales operations & admin:
- Manage administrative affairs (e.g. commissions, onboarding)
- Lead process improvement projects to streamline sales operations
Requirements:

- At least 4-5 years of working in Sales, Commercial, FMCG roles with experience in data analysis and project management
- The candidate will be based in Ho Chi Minh but willing to business trip
- Basic English
